HOURS OF OPERATION
7:30 am - 6:00 pm, 5 days per week, 50 weeks per year.
The centre is closed on gazetted Public Holidays.
CHILDREN's AGE GROUPINGS
The centre has been divided into three distinct zones/room all with different staff:child ratios.
- 6 months to 2 years (Sapphires)
- 2 years to 3 years (Emeralds)
- 3 years to 6 years (Opals)
STAFFING
All staff employed at Macquarie Early Learning Centre have age-appropriate experience. All are employed on a permanent basis. Staff hold current First Aid qualifications.
LAUNDRY
The Centre provides all nappies, linen, bibs, painting aprons, towels and face-washers.
The Centre provides a named hat for all children plus a named bag for Sapphires. These are exclusively for use at the Centre.
FOOD
The children will be provided with
- Morning Tea
- Lunch - 2 courses
- Afternoon Tea
- Supper
Special dietary needs and observances are closely followed.
WHAT TO BRING
Each child is to bring a complete change of clothes including underwear and shoes clearly labelled with their name.
A piece of fruit each day to share on a fruit platter
Parents of infants using formula are asked to supply their child's faily formula needs in a marked container.
PROGRAMMES
All children over 3 years participate in an extended-hours pre-school programme.
All children under 3 will participate in age-appropriate indoor/outdoor developmental programmes.
Detailed developmental records are kept on every child. These records are available to parents on request.
FEES AND CONDITIONS
- The registration fee for a place at the Centre is $100 per child. This fee is non-refundable.
- There are no half-day or hourly bookings.
- Fees are payable based on the booking, not the physical attendance.
- Gazetted Public Holidays must be paid for and are included in the monthly billing where appropriate.
- Four weeks written notice of termination or reduction in days must be given otherwise fees will be charged at full rate upon termination.
- A bond of 2 weeks fees is payable 1 month prior to starting, refundable after the child commences and 1 month noice of termination is given. The bond is non-refundable if the child's place is cancelled prior to start date.
All fees are inclusive of all charges and services.
The centre is an Approved Childcare Provider (Provider No: 407 231 381C) and so, approved childcare beneift (CCB) is deducted before invoicing.
